Hey, I’m Alecia! 

I have always been an entrepreneur at heart. I started my first business at the age of 7. Yes, SEVEN. I started creating handmade jewelry and selling pieces at local craft fairs and events. I absolutely loved how my peers at school came together, started conversations with each other – no matter what age or ethnicity.

The energy of being my “own boss”, and the fun of being at events started this crazy path of entrepreneurship.

I really wanted to create an inclusive community for girls and women. Circa 2001 when people were just starting to test out chat rooms (remember those days of Yahoo chat?) I was creating an online community for women – called the Martini Lounge.

It was such a success that I was nominated for a prestigious Women of Distinction Award.

 

My soul was on fire from being in a community – where women LOVED to be together, create something and bring each other to the next level. From there I’ve gone on to a few corporate jobs, opened up 3 more businesses and really stepped into a role of teaching, coaching and mentoring women – especially those in the online entrepreneurial world.
One of the most important things in my life is my family and my kids. I started this business to have the freedom to work from a laptop at my in-laws in Northern Ontario, or across the world in Morocco while hosting a VIP Mastermind with a client.

I started Eventistry by Alecia because I knew I wanted to work from home, create a life that I could be present in my kids and family life. I didn’t want to do the 2+ hour commute everyday, to where I wasn’t appreciated or respected.

I love being a mom and my kids are the motivating factor to how I run my business: with respect, high communication and by showing up 100% in my business everyday.

 

I know how hard it is to start your own business and to find the right kind of support.

Today, you can’t just be good at something – you have to really put yourself out there, be sophisticated about branding and marketing, and create and consistently maintain an image that resonates with your audience. Being your own boss is both one of the most exhilarating experiences as well as one of the most consuming.

Now that I’ve found a way to make an impact and leave my mark on this world, it’s my mission to help as many incredible women entrepreneurs as possible by collaborating with you and creating events that match your passion, energy, and vibe.

My Coaching Business know no borders. I have an extensive international background with a robust network of sponsors, partners and business worldwide. My team and I are fluent in Spanish, French, and Italian.
